Are You a Trading Company or a Factory?

A trading company. SUS CNC, run from Ho Chi Minh City, sells stainless parts machined to JIS drawings. We buy the machining from a network of professional CNC shops that we manage, put an engineer on every order, send you a progress update every week, inspect before packing and ship on our own paperwork. We hold no machines and we will never show you someone else's floor as ours.

Why say it plainly

The word is only a problem when a supplier hides it.

Buying stainless parts from a shop abroad directly means finding one, judging a machine list you cannot see, agreeing terms in a second language and carrying the risk yourself. A global quoting platform routes your part to whichever factory has capacity and nobody stands on the floor where it is running. A pure middleman forwards your drawing and waits.

We sit in between and stay narrow on purpose: the JIS stainless range only, machining only, one order at a time, with an engineer who reads the drawing and goes to the shop. What separates a useful trading company from a middleman is what happens between the purchase order and the shipment, and that is what the rest of this page is about.

What the production management actually involves

These four things are the product. The invoice just explains who you pay.

  • A managed network of shopsA shop joins after our engineer has stood on its floor: machines against the list, instruments and calibration, grades run every week, what happens to a part that fails. Then a paid trial order of our own. It stays in the network on performance, and we never publish its name.
  • An engineer on every orderThe engineer who reads your title block is the one who places the order, agrees the schedule, checks the material, reviews the first article, visits during the run and signs off the final inspection.
  • A weekly progress updateIn writing, every week your order runs: the stage, the date it is tracking to, what changed. If a date is at risk you hear it the day we know.
  • Inspection before packingMeasured against your drawing before anything goes in the box, with the report in the box. A seisekisho on request. Anything out of tolerance stays here and is ours to resolve.

How we are paid

On the margin between what you pay us and what we pay the shop. No quoting fee, no engineering charge for reading the drawing, nothing added at the end. The price on the quote is the price on the invoice.

That model has a bias worth naming: we earn when an order runs cleanly and lose when it goes wrong, so we have every reason to turn away a part that does not suit the network and none at all to talk you into one.

What we are not

  • Not a factoryWe own no machines. The shops in the network are our suppliers, chosen and managed by us, and never described as our own floor.
  • Not a brokerA broker passes your enquiry on and takes a cut of the introduction. We buy the machining, sell you the parts and carry the order. Different job, different risk.
  • Not a global platformSUS stainless to JIS drawings only. If your part belongs somewhere else we would rather say so than route it.
  • Not certified in anythingSUS CNC holds no ISO certification and does not claim one. Shops in the network may hold certifications, and those are theirs to evidence, not ours to borrow.

Why the JIS angle, specifically

There is no shortage of places to get a stainless part quoted. There is a shortage of places that read the Japanese title block before quoting it.

A drawing marked JIS B 0405-f carries plus or minus 0.1 mm on every untoleranced dimension between 6 and 30 mm. A shop that assumes the medium class makes a part to plus or minus 0.2 mm that is legal against its own reading and wrong against yours. Nobody lied. The title block was not read.

The same is true of legacy triangle finish marks, of third angle projection on a drawing landing at a shop that works in first angle, and of a material note that says SUS316L arriving at a stockist whose system runs on EN numbers. None of these are language problems and none of them are fixed by translation. They are fixed by an engineer reading the drawing before it is placed, which is the first of our four inspection gates.

Everything in the reference tools and theguides exists because it came up on a real drawing.

Standards the reference library is built against

Every table and tool on this site is checked against the published standard rather than against another website. Last reviewed 2026-09-23.

Found something on this site that disagrees with the standard in front of you? Write tosales at suscnc.com with the clause and we will correct it and say so. Reference material that nobody corrects is reference material nobody uses.

Proof we do not have yet

No client counts, no shop counts, no engineer counts, no years in business, no certifications and no testimonials appear on this site, because we have not earned the right to print them. When there is something real to show, it will be shown with the evidence attached. What you can check today is the way an order is run, which is written down on how it works and in the terms of sale.

Who you are writing to

Work happens by email from Ho Chi Minh City, in English and Japanese for buyers. That is the reason the reply comes within 24 business hours rather than instantly, and the reason it addresses your part rather than a template. A request sent on Friday evening is read on Monday. Buyers: sales at suscnc.com. Shops and suppliers: partner at suscnc.com.

  • No phone numberDeliberate. A drawing discussion that is not in writing is a drawing discussion nobody can check later.
  • No sales sequenceYou will not be enrolled in anything. If your part is not a fit you get told once and that is the end of it.
  • No invented referencesThere are no customer logos or case studies on this site, because we are not free to publish other people's parts.
  • No shop namesWe do not publish the shops in the network and we do not pass your name to them.
